What we collect and why

Who we share data with (processors)
We use the following third parties to run our store. Each processes data on our behalf under their own data processing agreements: - Shopify — e-commerce platform and order processing - Klaviyo — email marketing and automated flows - Google Analytics (GA4) / Google Search Console — website analytics - Selfnamed — product fulfillment and shipping - Klarna, PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other checkout payment methods — payment processing
Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/EEA (notably the US). Where this happens, transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent legal safeguard maintained by the provider (e.g. Shopify’s and Google’s own Data Processing Addenda).
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Cookies
We use functional cookies (to run the store and checkout) and analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our site. We do not currently use advertising/retargeting pixels (e.g. Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel). You can control cookies via your browser settings; blocking functional cookies may affect checkout.
How long we keep data
We retain order data for as long as required by Dutch tax law (7 years for financial records). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics’ default retention settings.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to: access your data, correct it, request its deletion, restrict or object to processing, and data portability. To exercise any of these, email support@strawberryskinlab.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
For customers in the United States
Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights (e.g. under the California Consumer Privacy Act) to know what personal information we hold, request its deletion, and opt out of the “sale” of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email support@strawberryskinlab.com.
Children
Our store is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent version.
